A FIRE has caused significant damage to a house.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called to the house fire in Ravenscroft, Storrington, at about 4.05pm on Tuesday, November 30.
Crews from Storrington, Worthing, East Preston, Shoreham, Horsham, Littlehampton and Bognor all were in attendance.
Pictures from the scene show significant damage to the roof of the property.
Firefighters used six breathing apparatus, three hose reels and one jet to extinguish the blaze.
An aerial ladder platform was also used by firefighters.
At the time of the fire, a West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “If you live nearby, please close doors and windows to keep out smoke.”
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
