POLICE continued to search a country lane in connection with a murder investigation into a missing mother.

Kent Police confirmed an ongoing search of Rock Lane in Hastings is connected with the disappearance of Alexandra Morgan.

The 34-year-old has not been seen since Remembrance Sunday.

Officers from Sussex Police are involved with the investigation into her disappearance.

A man from St Leonards has been charged with her murder, although her body has not yet been found.

Mark Brown, of Squirrel Close, appeared at Lewes Crown Court in connection with her disappearance earlier this week.

Officers wearing forensic suits, gloves and masks were photographed at Rock Lane in Hastings this afternoon – the second day of searching the area.

Kent Police said officers are carrying out searches of an area close to Westfield, near Hastings, as part of their work to locate Alexandra.

The searches include locations close to Rock Lane, and are being supported by officers from Sussex Police.

She was last seen at a petrol station near her home on November 14.

Police previously searched other sites in the Hastings and St Leonards area.
