A MAN must pay £1,500 compensation for destroying a fruit machine in an amusement arcade.
Valentin Nazdravanu admitted criminal damage to the machine at Bensons Amusement Centre in Crawley on July 11, 2019.
Crawley magistrates ordered him to pay the compensation and carry out 200 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.
The 26-year-old, of Woodfield Road, Northgate, Crawley, who pleaded guilty to the offence on March 27, must also pay £85 costs.
