A MAN has been found guilty of stealing £50 worth of meat from Iceland and assault.
Michael King, 39, of Linden Road, Bognor, denied both charges when he appeared before Crawley magistrates in August.
The court heard he stole the meat from Iceland in Littlehampton in May 4 and, on the same day, assaulted a man by beating him.
Magistrates found King guilty of both offences and the case was adjourned for sentencing.
He appeared in court again on November 18, where the case was further adjourned for a pre sentence report to be prepared.
