KATIE Price says it is “hard” not being able to visit her son Harvey after her licence was taken away.

Harvey, 19, attends National Star residential college in Cheltenham and now lives independently.

Katie had been making a weekly trip to see her eldest son, but has been unable to drive there since her drink-drive crash in September.

The Brighton-born former glamour model avoided prison by entering a rehab facility following the crash on the B2135 near Partridge Green.

At court, she pleaded guilty to drink driving, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.

As a result, her licence was revoked.

"It's been hard. Before I felt better knowing that I was getting my driving licence back in December so I could drive to him whenever I wanted," Katie said during an interview with OK! Magazine.

"Now, I’m trying to get my head around the fact that I’m going to be banned from driving for a long time.

"It's hard, but I know Harvey is happy there.”

Katie said she has resorted to video-calling Harvey twice a day.

The 43-year-old said she often treats her son when she goes to visit him.

"I make sure I take him out. When he was at home, I spent a lot of time cleaning up after him, which I obviously didn’t mind,” she said.

"But now, because he’s being looked after at college, we can spend proper quality time together when I see him, which is amazing."

Speaking about her plans for Christmas, Katie told OK! Magazine: "The plan is that Harvey will be home for Christmas and New Year. It will be me, Harvey and Carl.

"I don’t have the other kids this year as it’s their dads’ turns because I had them last year.

"And then obviously I’ll see my mum and my family. We’ll be at my house in Horsham – I’m back here for good and I’m loving it."

Her sentencing has been deferred until December 15.
