With November coming to an end, mock exam season is fast approaching.

Students across the country are preparing for their mock exams to begin. Students now have a few weeks of hard work to show that they are prepared for their end of year exams from May onwards.

For those who may not know what the mock exams are, well then let me explain. The mock exams are designed for students to experience exam conditions so that they can be better prepared for GCSE exams during year 11.

The exams taken depend on the student and the school, some students may do more mocks than others, and in some cases a student may not do mocks, it is entirely dependent on the student and the place of education.

There are a variety of subjects that use Mock Exams such as Math's, English Literature and language and Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).

During 2021, the Students were in some cases unable to complete their GCSE exams due to lockdown procedures, and so the mock exams were crucial to give grades to those students. The Mock grades and the work they had done during their time at the school Gave them their final results.

Currently it is still not clear whether these mock exams will be used in place of final exams In June, which makes these exams even more important than they usually are.

So to conclude my little lesson in mock exams, I wish all those who are taking part in the mock exams or those who have already completed them, the best of luck this year, and may we all get the results we are hoping for. Yours sincerely, from one student to any others reading this article.
