ALBION's club shop has achieved a record-breaking month of sales in the lead up to Christmas.

The club revealed that it had record sales both online and in-store during November, and is expecting December to be even busier.

More than 14,000 items were purchased during Albion’s “blue weekend” promotion at the end of November.

The Seagulls opened up a pop-up shop in Churchill Square on October 18, alongside their existing superstore at the American Express Community Stadium in Falmer.

Claire Britton, the club’s head of retail said: “We’re really pleased with how blue weekend and November in general went and I’d like to thank our retail team for their hard work.

“They are really good at motivating each other at this time of the year to make sure the shops are stocked and orders are dispatched in time.”

Claire added that the biggest sellers at the moment are mugs, chocolate, socks and Albion gnomes.

The pop-up shop in Churchill Square will be open until Friday, December 24, from 9am-6pm weekdays and 11am-5pm on Sundays.

Claire added that there will be more offers leading up to Christmas and to visit the club’s website and social media for more details ahead of Christmas.
