THE family of a missing woman are appealing for anyone who has seen her to get in touch with police.

Vivienne Lindley, from Newick near Chailey, was reported missing last night when her car was found on the seafront in Seaford.

Her husband John and son Matt have been looking for her in Seaford since the early hours of this morning.

John said: “We want to find out if anyone saw her after 4.30pm yesterday.

“She’s very fond of walking along Seaford seafront, especially in the summer when the weather is better.

“We are aware of the fact that her car pinged by an ANPR camera heading westbound from Eastbourne. So sometime after 4.30pm she arrived in Seaford we think.”

Vivienne is 5'6", with brown hair and most likely would have been wearing a black puffer jacket and woolly hat.

"Vivienne is slim, 5’6” with brown hair and a scar on her forehead. It is possible she was wearing a long dark puffer jacket or coat.
