A WOMAN has suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash on the A272.
A car and a lorry collided on the road between Buck Barn and Cowfold at about 7.45pm on Sunday, January 2.
The woman driving the car sustained serious and life-threatening injuries, according to Sussex Police.
The A272 was closed for several hours while the scene was examined.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash.
Anyone who saw what happened or who has any other information is asked to contact Sussex Police on collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting Operation Codnor.
Police also thanked drivers for their patience and understanding during the road closure.
