THE DUKE and Duchess of Sussex’s son Archie has started at a nursery which teaches “emotional literacy”.

Classmates at the school in California, United States, have “no idea” the two-year-old is a member of the royal family, a fellow parent has claimed.

The school teaches subjects including Spanish, theatre, coding, music and dance, as well as less traditional subjects like emotional literacy, mindfulness and how to be kind.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle often pick up and drop off Archie at the school in Montecito, a fellow parent told The Mirror.

The parent of one of Archie's classmates also said Prince Harry “seems like a good dad”.

“All the parents have been laidback in welcoming Harry and Meghan, without making a fuss. And to the other kids, Archie is just one of them,” they said.

While many celebrities living in the nearby area send their children to the All Saints by the Sea Episcopal School, the Duke and Duchess chose a less traditional site further away.

The school which Archie attends has small class sizes and boasts a number of gardens, plants and outdoor space.

Last month, Prince Harry and Meghan issued a festive message featuring the first publicly-released photo of their daughter Lilibet.

The card showed the couple smiling as Lilibet is held aloft, while Archie sits on his father’s knee.

The couple wishes supporters “happy holidays” in the card, which was sent via email through their Archewell charity.

A message alongside the photo reads: “This year, 2021, we welcomed our daughter, Lilibet, to the world.

“Archie made us a ‘Mama’ and a ‘Papa’, and Lili made us a family.”
