Woman avoids jail after assaulting police officer
A WOMAN must pay compensation for assaulting a police officer.
Brighton magistrates gave Michelle O’Reilly a 12-month conditional discharge for the attack which happened in Goldstone Road, Hove, on May 1 last year.
But she must pay £50 compensation and £107 costs.
The 36-year-old, of Chiddingly Close, Brighton, originally denied assaulting an emergency worker by beating but later changed her plea to guilty.
