A WOMAN had her personal belongings stolen when she collapsed and hit her head in a busy street.

The 48-year-old was walking alone along London Road, Bognor at around 8.05pm on December 21 when she collapsed and hit her head on the ground.

She was helped by a number of people, including a man on a bicycle and a couple who drove her home.

Police say it was at this point that she discovered her mobile phone and bank card were missing.

It was later found that her card had been used for “a number of low-value transactions” in nearby shops shortly after the incident.

Officers are urging anyone who saw what happened to come forward, and they are particularly keen to hear from the cyclist who also stopped to assist.

You can report it online or call 101, quoting serial 554 of 22/12.
