A POPULAR restaurant has launched its new set menu, which includes CBD-infused cocktails.

The Ivy In The Lanes, Brighton, is celebrating the start of 2022 with the new winter menu which will be available in the evenings until February 10.

Guests can enjoy two courses for £28.95 or three courses for £34.95, with classic dishes such as The Ivy cured salmon with black pepper, lemon and dark rye bread.

The Argus: Blackened cod fillet

There is also blackened cod fillet (pictured) which is baked in a banana leaf with a soy marinade, citrus-pickled fennel, grilled broccoli, chilli and yuzu mayonnaise.

The Argus: Chocolate Bomb

For dessert guests can order a chocolate bombe, a melting chocolate creation with a vanilla ice cream, honeycomb centre and hot salted caramel sauce.

Lorne Hendry-Martin, general manager at The Ivy In The Lanes, said: "We have introduced our first ever evening set menu at The Ivy In The Lanes, which includes some of our much-loved favourites.

"We hope to welcome family and friends back into the restaurant after the busy festive period.”

To accompany the new menu, which launched on Thursday, the restaurant’s new "Stress-free Sipping" drinks offering includes a selection of low or no-alcohol beverages infused with "natural CBD adaptogens", designed to boost the mood, enhance relaxation and reduce stress levels.

One of these is the Trip CBD Infused Cooler, from £5.75, an alcohol-free, refreshing, sparkling drink with 15mg of premium CBD.

The coolers are available in two flavours: Trip Elderflower and Mint CBD Infused Cooler, £5.75 and the Trip Peach and Ginger CBD Infused Cooler, £6.25.

Also available is the CBD Spritz, costing £8.75, an alcoholic option using the Trip Peach and Ginger CBD, Aperol and prosecco for an original take on an Aperol Spritz.

For beer lovers, the Lucky Trip Shandy, which is £5.75, features Lucky Saint 0.5 per cent abv lager and Trip Elderflower and Mint, making a light and low alcohol shandy.

Since its original London establishment opened in 1917 in the West End, The Ivy has cemented its reputation as a plush hangout for actors and celebrities.

The chain came to Ship Street, Brighton, in 2018 and has become a popular venue for an upmarket night in the city.

The new evening set menu will be available from 6.30pm, Sunday to Thursday, from now until Thursday, February 10.

This is in addition to the regular lunchtime set menu, which was relaunched for the new year this week.
