A PENSIONER was taken to hospital with “serious leg injuries” following a crash on the A26.
The 75-year-old was walking by the Esso petrol station in Eridge Road, Crowborough on Sunday January 2, when he was hit by a Volkswagen Golf leaving the garage forecourt.
Police said the driver failed to stop at the scene and continued in the direction of Tunbridge Wells.
The man visited hospital for treatment to his “serious leg injuries”.

Investigating officer, PC Michael Dunn of the Sussex roads policing unit, said: "We are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to please come forward, or anyone who may have captured any relevant dash cam footage from the area around that time.
"Anyone with information can email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting serial 954 of 02/01."
