DRIVERS are being advised to plan their journeys ahead of several road closures on the A27.
One lane the A27 eastbound to northbound, Devil’s Dyke to Pyecombe, will be closed for drainage works from 8pm on Thursday to 5am on Friday.
National Highways South East have warned road users to expect delays of around ten minutes.
The agency is also urging drivers to be aware of two further closures due to take place later this month.
On the A27 eastbound, Southwick to Devil’s Dyke, one slip road and one lane will be closed overnight on January 17.
The works are due to end at 6am on January 18 and delays are expected to be “minimal”.
From 8pm on January 24 to 6am, January 26, the A27 eastbound and westbound, Holmbush to Hangleton, will be closed for tunnel maintenance.
National Highways said diversions will be put in place.
The agency is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads are not included in their schedule.
