THERE has been a crash involving two cars which is causing heavy traffic.

The crash happened before 7.10am on the B2093 The Ridge near the Conquest Hospital in Hastings.

Congestion is stretching back to Beauport holiday park eastbound, while traffic westbound is back to before Grange Road.

There were delays of over 30 minutes on the single lane road.

Delays are affecting the A2690 and the A21.

Sussex Police has been contacted for comment.

Recovery lorries have now cleared the two cars and traffic is easing.
