A BAND has postponed their European tour due to Covid-19.

Drum and bass rock group Noisy were due to take to the stage across Europe in what would have been their first ever headline European tour.

In a statement released on social media, the three-piece, who formed in Worthing in 2019, said new dates would be announced soon.

“Due to the ongoing Covid situation, we’re having to reschedule our shows in Europe that were due to start next week,” it said.

“News on new dates next week.

“We’re gutted but it’s gonna be a party when we can finally come over.”

The band were due to begin the tour in Paris on January 19, before performing shows across Germany and the Netherlands.

Noisy were then set to perform a further 17 shows across the UK – including a show at Patterns in Brighton on February 15.

The UK-leg of the tour is expected to go ahead.

The band, whose music combines drum and bass, hip-hop and rock, consists of frontman Cody Matthews, producer and guitarist Spencer Tobias-Williams and guitarist Connor Cheetham.

Noisy recently made headlines after spending their entire record label budget for a new music video on a huge night out – filming it and releasing the footage as the video for their new single.

They were given £5,000 to make a music video for the latest single Rock 'n' Roll Raver, but decided to withdraw the money and take 14 of their friends on a night out in Brighton – using GoPros to capture it all.

The group paid for a Hummer stretch limo, drinks, cigarettes, rides on Brighton Palace Pier and even for some of their friends to get a real Noisy and Rock 'n' Roll Raver tattoos.

Rock ‘n’ Roll Raver follows the release of Young Dumb, which was unveiled as the soundtrack to the new FIFA 22 official game trailer.

The band also recently completed their debut headline tour, which included sold-out shows at Brighton’s Komedia Studio Bar.

They also performed at Reading and Leeds Festival, All Points East, Boardmasters and supported the likes of Yungblud, You Me At Six and Don Broco.
