BRIGHTON is the trendiest city in the UK, a recent report has revealed.
The city ranked highly in the report by fashion retailer Charles Tyrwhitt for its number of charity and vintage shops, art galleries and fashion courses.
Newcastle and Huddersfield completed the top three, while Swindon placed last in the list of 40 cities from across the UK.
Top 10 trendiest cities in the UK

- Bolton
The report factored in the amount of charity shops, bars and pubs, art galleries, museums, and vintage fashion stores a city has, as well as whether the city offers fashion courses at university.
London, while boasting art galleries and museums renowned around the world, placed only 28th in the index - being let down by its number of vintage shops.
