ALBION are not believed to be among a host of Premier League sides interested in signing Tottenham and England star Dele Alli despite reports.

Reports state Brighton and Hove Albion are “monitoring” the 25-year-old’s situation ahead of a potential loan move during the January transfer window, according to the MailOnline.

But Albion have not confirmed this and The Argus understands that any reports are unfounded.

Newcastle United are said to be leading the chase to sign the Spurs midfielder this month, with others reported to ve interested.

Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund are also interested but a move to Germany appears unlikely, the MailOnline reports.

PSG duo Georginio Wijnaldum and Julian Draxler are also reportedly open to swap deals that could see them end up on loan at Tottenham with Tanguy Ndombele or Alli going the other way.

Alli began his career at Milton Keynes Dons, making 88 appearances for the side before joining Tottenham in 2015 for a reported fee of £5 million.

In each of his first two campaigns at White Hart Lane, Alli was voted the PFA Young Player of the Year and made the PFA Team of the Year.

Alli has made 181 Premier League appearances during his spell at Tottenham, scoring 51 goals.

This season, he has scored one goal in ten appearances. He is yet to register an assist.

On Tuesday, Albion announced a freeze on season ticket prices for a second successive year.

The price freeze applies to all areas for the 2022-23 campaign and the renewal window is already open.

There are also new benefits in terms of sharing season tickets.

Albion chairman Tony Bloom said: "We are acutely aware of the pressures and rising costs of everyday living so, we particularly want to thank you for your unwavering support and hope you will continue to enjoy following the Albion.”

Adult prices range from £545 to £860.
