Berzins, of Honeysuckle Lane, Langley Green, Crawley, was handed a Stalking Protection Order at Brighton Magistrates Court.
It bans him from contacting his ex-partner by any means and from entering an exclusion zone in Brighton.
Failure to comply with any of the terms could see the 43-year-old jailed.
