A WOMAN has been fined and handed four points after she was caught speeding on a major road.
Sharon Hawthorn, 55, was clocked over 30mph in her Nissan on Lewes Road, Brighton on May 28, 2021.
Hawthorn, of Long Park Corner, Ditchling, pleaded guilty at Brighton Magistrates' Court on January 6.
She was given four points and fined £33. She must also pay £33 in costs and a £34 victim surcharge.
Court documents state the fines and costs were reduced due to having paid the fine.
