FIRE crews battled a late-night barn blaze.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called to the barn fire in Whitebread Lane in Beckley at 11.49pm on Thursday, January 27.
Fire crews from Broad Oak and Rye attendance the scene, with support from Kent Fire and Rescue Service.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus and a hydrant to extinguish the fire.
Earlier this month, a man was arrested following a spate of barn and hay bale fires across Sussex.
A series of fires were deliberately set targeting roadside barns and hay bale stocks at farms in Beddingham, Alfriston, Tarring Neville and Litlington.
There is no indication the barn fire in Beckley was deliberate.
