A MAN has been fined and given six points for speeding in his Land Rover on the M23.
Matthew Dengate has been ordered to pay a total of £880 by Brighton magistrates after he was caught doing more than 70mph on the motorway near Tilgate Forest on April 17 last year.
The 46-year-old was also given six points on his licence.
Dengate, of Barn Close, Pease Pottage, was fined £700 and must pay £110 in court costs and a surcharge of £70 to fund victim services.
