A MAN has been ordered to pay more than £600 by a court for boarding a train without an £8.70 ticket.
Philip Martin travelled from Bexhill to Ore without a valid ticket on June 26.
The 29-year-old of Devonshire Road, Bexhill, was found guilty at Guildford Magistrates Court.
Martin was ordered to pay £8.70 in Compensation to Govia Thameslink and £350 in costs.
He must also pay a fine of £220 and a surcharge of £34.
