A DRIVER has been fined and given four points after they were caught speeding on a busy road.
Sharon Hawthorn was clocked speeding in her Nissan at over 30 miles an hour in Lewes Road, Brighton on May 28 last year.
The 55-year-old of Long Park Corner, Ditchling pleaded guilty at Brighton Magistrates Court on January 6.
Hawthorn was fined £33 and given four points on her driving licence.
She will also pay a surcharge of £34 and costs of £33 to the Sussex Police authority.
