PICTURES show emergency services working together to rescue an injured person from scaffolding.
Fire and ambulance crews were called to a house in Greenoaks, Lancing, at 12.46pm today to reports of an injured person.
The teams from West Sussex Fire and Rescue and South East Coast Ambulance rescued the person using a large aerial ladder before they were treated by paramedics on the ground.
Two fire engines and the service's Technical Rescue Unit attended the scene.

A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called at 12.46pm today, Monday, January 31, to reports of an injured person on scaffolding around a property on Greenoaks, Lancing.
“Joint Fire Control mobilised two fire engines, the service’s Technical Rescue Unit and the aerial ladder platform to the scene.
“Upon arrival, firefighters worked alongside paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service to rescue the casualty using the aerial ladder platform, bringing them down to ground level to receive further treatment from paramedics.”
