A MAN has denied murdering a mother-of-two who disappeared on Remembrance Sunday.

A murder investigation was launched after Alexandra Morgan went missing in November last year.

Mark Brown, from St Leonards, pleaded not guilty to murdering the 34-year-old.

The last sighting of Alexandra was at a petrol station near her home in Sissinghurst, Kent, on November 11.

Her disappearance was previously described as completely out of character.

A body has not yet been found.

Brown, of Squirrel Close, St-Leonards, was arrested ten days after she was last seen.

The 40-year-old spoke only to confirm his name and enter his not guilty plea.

The trial is expected to take place later this year.
