A LANE of one of the city's busiest roads is closed after a collision between two cars.

At least police officers can be seen speaking to people near the two cars in the middle of the A259 Kings Road in Brighton.

A police van was also spotted at the scene.

The incident took place between the Grand Hotel and the Hilton Brighton Metropole hotel along the road.

One lane of the road has been closed, with traffic building up along the road.

Sussex Police have been contacted for comment.
