A MAN is in hospital after being stabbed in the chest.

Emergency services were called to an incident at a flat in Hazel Road, Bognor, on Thursday at about 4.15pm.

Police said initial reports suggested a 51-year-old man had been stabbed.

He sustained a stab wound to the chest and was taken to hospital.

“His condition is currently assessed as not life threatening or life changing,” a Sussex Police spokesman said.

Two men were subsequently arrested on suspicion of being involved in the assault.

Both were later released without charge.
