BRIGHTON couples are among the happiest in the country, according to a recent study.
Research by Angelic Diamonds placed the city second only to Worcester for couples least likely to break up, based on search engine data. Cardiff and Nottingham also tied with Brighton for second, with only eight break up searches per 100,000 per month.

A spokeswoman for Angelic Diamonds offered advice for couples who are looking for a way to end their relationship respectfully, encouraging people to explain their feelings, speak in-person, not set expectations, and to understand their partner's point of view.
She said: "Telling the person you're with that you no longer want to be together is always going to be a tough conversation.
"No breakups are the same as you can't control the reaction of the other person, so handling it in a way to minimise any pain is important."
