A MAN has been given an electronic tag and a restraining order after damaging a front door and assaulting a man.
Adam Godfrey damaged the door in Heather Close, West Ashling, near Chichester, on March 19 last year, before assaulting a man the same day.
The 31-year-old then obstructed three police officers at the same address eight days later.
Godfrey, of Baileys Way, Hambrook, near Chichester, pleaded guilty after originally submitting a not guilty plea to all three charges.
He was given an 8pm to 5am curfew, an electronic monitoring tag and a two-year retraining order by Worthing magistrates.
Godfrey was also ordered to pay £300 compensation, £200 to the Crown Prosecution Service and £95 to fund victim services.
He must also complete a rehabilitation programme.
