A MAN has been taken to hospital after a car flipped on the A259.

Emergency services were spotted at the scene in Exceat near Seaford at 10.30am this morning.

Pictures from the scene show a silver car on its roof after leaving the road.

The A259 was closed in both directions while officers from Sussex Police worked to clear the scene.

The force said the driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries by the South East Coast Ambulance Service.

He was the only person in the vehicle at the time.

An air ambulance was also in attendance, as well crews from East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.
