A 53-YEAR-OLD man assaulted a paramedic and damaged medical equipment.

Anthony Addis was given a 26-week prison sentence, suspended for two years, for the attack in Ferring in July last year.

He assaulted paramedic David Stevenson and used threatening and abusive language to him and a woman.

He admitted assaulting an emergency worker, criminal damage and threatening behaviour.
