Purezza vegan pizza chain crowned the most Instagrammed vegan restaurants

Brighton-based vegan pizzeria Purezza has been named the country's most Instagrammable vegan restaurant, according to data from Myvegan.

Google searches for vegan restaurants rose by 115 per cent in 2021, showing that veganism is getting more and more popular.

When it comes to a Instagram photos and videos, interiors, vibrant food and careful presentation all go a long way.

Myvegan analysed Instagram hashtag data for over 170 popular plant-based eateries to see which ones are popping up most on people's feeds.

Purezza pizza

Pizza chain Purezza took the top spot, with restaurants in St James's Street, Brighton, and Western Road, Hove. As well as Bristol, Manchester and London.

Far outdoing its contenders, the UK’s first ever vegan pizza chain has 108,492 tags.

Since its launch in 2015, the brand has proved popular with plant-based eaters, made even more special by its own vegan mozzarella.

A huge 98 per cent of the menu is also gluten-free, meaning nobody is excluded from enjoying classic Neapolitan food to the fullest.

Brighton's Halo Burger also made the top ten thanks to its selection of stacked burgers.

With nearly 3,700 Instagram tags Halo Burger, the plant-based burger chain, prides itself on delivering the first ever "bleeding" vegan burger.

Boasting a variety of other American diner-inspired items such as nuggets, ice cream and its signature Halo fries, Halo Burger continues to grow its presence and fulfil cravings for vegan junk food and photo moments.

4. Temple of Seitan – London - 6,760 tagged photos
5. Vegan Munch – Birmingham - 6,453 tagged photos
6. Mooshies – London - 4,800 tagged photos
7. Erpingham House – Edinburgh/Norwich/Brighton/London - 4,631 tagged photos
8. What the Pitta! - Brighton/London/Manchester/Croydon - 3,830 tagged photos
9. Halo Burger – Brighton/London - 3,686 tagged photos
10. Bubala – London - 3,648 tagged photos
