KATIE Price is set to appear as a guest on the new series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK v the World.

The 43-year-old from Brighton will appear as the queens vie to make host RuPaul laugh in the Snatch Game, where competitors must do impersonations of famous celebrities.

However, there will be an unknown twist on the challenge - with Katie joining judge Michelle Visage as team captains in the next episode of the show.

The former glamour model became to prominence for fans of the show after Bimini Bon Boulash, a contestant on the second series of the UK version of the show, won the Snatch Game with her impersonation of Katie Price.

The new show pits former contestants of Drag Race from across the world against each other to crown the world's best drag queen.

Unlike regular versions of the show, which see judges eliminate at least one queen each week, the winning contestant gets the choice of who should "sashay away" out of the worst-performing queens.

This week's episode saw the queens perform in a musical, with Thai drag queen Pangina Heels being declared the winner.

Pangina chose to eliminate fellow Canadian queen Jimbo, who had been one of the best performing queens in the show so far, over American queen Jujubee, who has performed in three other versions of the show.

Katie Price will feature along with BBC Radio One DJ Clara Amfo and actress Michelle Keegan in the show next Tuesday at 9pm on BBC Three.

The channel returned earlier this month to television screens after being made digital-only in 2016 due to budget cuts.
