SEVERAL schools across the county have been forced to close their doors this morning.

The University of Sussex said this morning that the campus will not open today as a red weather warning is issued for the area.

It comes after the Met Office has urged people to stay indoors.

Colleges and schools across the area have reached out to parents and students to inform them of the closures, with many opting for online learning.
