FIREFIGHTERS and police are at the scene of a “major” incident.

Emergency services were called to the incident in Queens Crescent, Burgess Hill, at about 12.30pm on Saturday, February 19.

A witness at the scene said the fire crews were dealing with a “major fire incident”.

Photographs show a number of crews from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service at the scene.

A crane also appears to be in use, while Queens Crecsent is also blocked off to traffic.

The cause or severity of the incident is not yet known.

On Friday, West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said crews had had been a “busy day” in the wake of Storm Eunice.
