A PEDESTRIAN has suffered potentially life-changing injuries after being hit by a car.
The 58-year-old man was rushed to hospital after the crash in Portland Road in Hove.
Emergency services were called to the scene after reports of a pedestrian being hit by a car near the junction of Modena Road.
Police said the man, from Brighton, was taken to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries.
“The driver of the vehicle, a 22-year-old local man, was reported for driving without due care and attention,” a police spokesman said.
The driver was not arrested, but the matter remains under investigation.
Anyone with information about the incident on Tuesday, February 8, is asked to contact police.
