A MAN was injured after crashing into a tree.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash which happened in Needlemakers, Chichester, on Sunday, February 20.

The vehicle, a white Mini Cooper, travelled from a car park opposite Cawley Road, along the A286, before crashing into a tree.

A man who was found inside of the vehicle was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

“The man will be interviewed at a later date,” a police spokesman said.

Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with CCTV footage of the incident which happened at about 12.55am.
