THERE are severe delays on the A27 due to an ongoing "police incident".
Drivers are currently facing delays of up to 35 minutes on the A27 Lewes Road Westbound, between Brighton Road and A270 at Stanmer Park.
An AA traffic update said it was due to a "police incident".

The update said: "Road closed and slow traffic due to police incident on A27 Lewes Road both ways from Carden Avenue (Hollingbury / Ditchling junction) to A270 (Stanmer Park)."
Sussex Police have been contacted for a comment.
