Fatma’s Kitchen took to Instagram to share the news, writing: “WOW, we can't believe it! We've only gone and won Chef of the Year 2022 at the @justeatuk @britishkebabawards . Not only have we won, but Fatma is the FIRST WOMAN TO EVER WIN THE AWARD!

“We'd like to thank everyone who voted, the judges that chose Fatma and also all of our wonderful customers who have dined with us over the years. This award really means a lot and we'd like to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts.

“We now need to find the perfect spot to display it in the restaurant. We look forward to seeing all of your beautiful faces soon.
