A GARAGE is expected to sell for nearly £100,000 at auction later this month.

The detached property is in Hangleton Road, Hove, and is among some 130 lots going under the hammer with Clive Emson Land and Property Auctioneers.

The sale ends on Wednesday, March 23.

A garage/store, which is said to "have potential" is at the rear of a property in Hangleton Road and listed with a £85,000 to £90,000 freehold guide price.

It is on the north side of the road, close to its junction with Nevill Avenue, and has vehicle access via a shared driveway.

Senior auction appraiser and auctioneer Richard Payne said: “Of concrete construction with a pitched roof, the 49.65sqm (535sqft) single-storey building offers flexible space for storage or commercial use. It has a small rear yard.

“It could be suitable for a variety of uses, subject to all necessary consents being obtainable.”

Another garage is tipped to sell for £50,000. This one is a "spacious" double garage just off Hove seafront in a compound at the rear of Princes Avenue.

Also up for grabs is a house of multiple occupation (HMO) in Redvers Road, Brighton, which is expected to fetch between £475,000 to £500,000.

Mr Payne said: “This mid-terrace bay fronted property is arranged as a licensed HMO.

“There are six letting rooms arranged over three floors with shared kitchen, bathroom and toilet facilities.

“We consider it ideal for continued investment, especially with potentially enhanced rent after July.”

The property has double glazing throughout, gas central heating and a west facing rear patio garden.

It is just off the A27, close to all university sites.
