A woman was ordered to pay nearly £300 after driving her car in Brighton while almost twice the legal drink driving limit.
Hayley Moore, 47, was stopped by police while driving her car in London Road on January 10.
A roadside breath test showed her to have 63 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 35.
When she was stopped by police, Moore said she had been drinking the night before.
She pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle with an alcohol level above the limit at Brighton Magistrates Court on February 3.
Brighton magistrates fined Moore, of Neville Road, Peacehaven, £178. She was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £34, costs of £85, and was disqualified from driving for 18 months.
