A MAN who stole more than a dozen t-shirts from a high street store has been ordered to pay the shop back after pleading guilty.

Adam Clive Matthew Martin, from Wiston Road in Brighton, was ordered to pay £250 in compensation, which was the value of the t-shirts.

The 31-year-old stole 15 white t-shirts from the Levi Store in Churchill Square shopping centre, Russell Place on January 30, 2019.

Martin initially pleaded not guilty in December 2021, but changed his plea to guilty last Wednesday, March 2 at Brighton Magistrates’ Court.

Martin has to pay the £250 to the Levi Store by June 2 this year. He has also been discharged conditionally for three months.
