A BURGER restaurant is to donate an evening’s proceeds to a fundraiser for Ukraine.
Honest Burger is to ask all guests at its restaurant in Duke Street, Brighton, to donate what they can for their meal and drinks on March 15, with all proceeds going to Cook for Ukraine.
The charity aims to celebrate Ukrainian and Eastern European food, while raising awareness of the humanitarian crisis facing Ukraine, as well as emergency funds.
All of the money raised goes to Unicef.
The entire food and drink menu will be available from 4pm to close, and guests are encouraged to be as generous as they can.
Branches of Honest Burger in London, Bristol, Cambridge, Liverpool, Manchester, Cardiff, Reading and St Albans are also taking part.
A spokesman said: “Visiting guests can enjoy any one of Honest’s signature burgers throughout the evening, from high-quality, British beef patties, to the vegetarian fritter, vegan plant and the limited-edition Guiness fondue burgers.
“All will be served with Honest’s homemade rosemary salted chips, using potatoes grown in Sussex to Honest’s unique requirements.”
