A 21-YEAR-OLD man found with crack cocaine was given a one-year community order after magistrates heard he was in breach of a suspended sentence for dealing drugs.

Brighton Magistrates Court heard a member of the public called the emergency services after Louis Rigby fell off his bike in June last year.

Rigby, of Ditchling Road, Brighton, was later found to be in possession of eight clingfilm wraps of crack cocaine, the court heard.

Passing sentence on Thursday, magistrate Alison Musker asked Rigby if he had learned anything from his recent experiences with the law.

“Yes,” he replied. “I’ve learned lots.”

Mrs Musker, who ordered Rigby to undergo 80 hours unpaid work, told the defendant: “We hope we don’t see you back here.”

Rigby was also ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £95.
