If you were going for a coffee and a cake with a friend from out of town, where would you take them in Sussex?

“For coffee and a cake, I’d go to The Flour Pot Bakery in Hove. They’ve got a great selection and it’s a lovely café.

“if it’s just a coffee, I’d go Small Batch Coffee in Hove. They do a great coffee, and the lads here absolutely love it.

“We’re down there pretty much every day.”

What is the best shop in Sussex?

“My favourite clothes store, which I’ve been to quite often since being back down here, is a place called Peggs & son.

“I absolutely love it. It’s alternative menswear, designer, from all around the world. That’s my absolute go to.

“But in Brighton, there are so many incredible stores everywhere – it’s such an alternative place.”

Whether it be for a concert, comedy or theatre, what is the best venue around?

“When I was younger I used to always go to Concorde 2. They used to have loads of people come down to play.

“The Kooks played there when I was younger, Rizzle Kicks when they were around, Ed Sheeran.

“I can’t say I’ve been to many places since being back. It’s been a bit hectic.”

If you’re looking to escape the city, what is your favourite outdoors place to visit?

“I’m a massive fan of a walk. There’s obviously the South Downs, which spread for miles and miles.

“There’s loads of different walks with great views. That’d probably be the place to go.”

And lastly, whether it be for a drink or a sit-down meal, what is the best bar, pub or restaurant in Sussex?

“If I was going out for food, I’d go to Fatto a Mano, which is just at the bottom of the road from the ground.

“It’s a great Italian place. They’ve got a few restaurants around the UK, but I absolutely love their food.

“Around Hove, there’s so many nice pub and bars – Libation, The Gin Tub, Hove Place, Blind Busker.”
