A SOAPSTAR is to host a karaoke event at a seafront nightclub.

EastEnders actor Shaun Williamson will make an appearance at Concorde 2 in Madeira Drive, Brighton tomorrow night.

The TV personality, best known for playing Barry Evans in the BBC soap, will entertain partygoers with his unique “Barrioke” event.

The Argus:

The karaoke themed nights promise “trademark warmth and teasing banter”.

Fans are invited to join Shaun on stage for a singalong.

Shaun began singing at festivals, including Truck in Oxfordshire, and Y Not in Derbyshire.

He is now touring his act across clubs, weddings and private parties.

A spokesman for the event said: “Shaun hosts the event with his usual trademark warmth and teasing banter, accompanying participants on stage, creating a riotous, joyous moment that people will never forget.

“This is the ultimate Insta moment, something people will talk about and want to be part of.

Last year, Shaun was given a rapturous reception when he performed Sweet Caroline at Boxpark in Croydon ahead of England’s semi-final game in Euro 2020.

A video of his rendition made the rounds on social media and Shaun said he “couldn’t believe the reaction.”

Tickets are on sale now.

The event is set to begin at 7pm and will end at 10pm.
