AN ELDERLY woman crashed after losing consciousness behind the wheel of her car.
The road in Brighton was closed while emergency services attended the crash.
According to Brighton and Hove Police, the woman had a collision after losing consciousness.
In a statement released by Brighton and Hove Police, a spokesman said: “Teamwork always prevails.
“On March 12, an elderly woman had a collision after losing consciousness behind the wheel.
“An off-duty West Sussex police officer, Brighton and Hove response officers, PCSOs and an ambulance team attended and worked together to help the woman and to reopen the road.”
The crash happened in Brighton on Saturday, March 12.
