England boss Gareth Southgate has announced his squad for the upcoming matches against Switzerland and Ivory Coast.

Gareth Southgate, from Crawley, gave a first call up for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi who has been in good form for Crystal Palace this season.

Meanwhile, the most notable absentees were Manchester United duo, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho who have both struggled for form this season.

Former Brighton defender Ben White, who joined Arsenal last summer for £50 million, was included in the squad after cementing his place is Mikel Arteta’s squad this season.

No Albion players made the squad. The most likely contender would have been Adam Webster but he has struggled with injuries this season.

England take on Switzerland on Saturday, March 26 at 5.30pm and Ivory Coast on Tuesday, March 29 at 7.45pm. Both friendlies are being played at Wembley.
